Juana (last name unknown)
ICE deported Juana over the weekend when she was 36 weeks pregnant, after holding her and her two young children at the Dilley detention center for three months.
Doctors and airlines initially refused to clear her for travel because she was so close to giving birth, but ICE eventually found others willing to approve it.
Juana says the stress has been overwhelming, and there are serious concerns about whether pregnant women in detention are receiving even basic medical care. No one about to give birth should be treated this way.
For the clearest detail and strongest finished piece, I recommend using cardstock and a cutting machine. Cardstock provides the stability needed to hold the fine lines and structure of the design.
