At a LOOM Gathering, we’ll spend some time getting clear on the thing you’re looking for, then share our “asks” in small groups while embroidering an empowering mantra to take home.

Maybe someone has been where you are. Maybe she knows the person you should call. Maybe she sees an option you haven’t considered. And something that feels completely ordinary to you could be exactly what another has been looking for.

Where are you stuck? A new venture, a change of direction, or just looking for the perfect place to pitch a tent. Nothing is too big or too small.

A LOOM Gathering is a modern-day “knitting circle” built around what women can make possible for one another.

Here’s how it works:

This is not your typical “networking” event. We’re creating a space for women to relax, have fun and help each other out.

  • All crafting supplies, embroidery instruction, signature mocktails and refreshments are included.

  • No embroidery experience needed.

  • Seats are limited to keep the gathering personal and useful.

  • Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy or share.

LOOM Gathering was created and is facilitated by Alessandra Gutierrez, an artist, writer, producer and business owner who has spent much of her life bringing ideas and people together.

Inspired by Alessandra’s simple question, “What do you need?”, this event celebrates the magic that happens when someone says, “Wait. I know someone.”

LOOM grew from witnessing how often that one sentence opened a door. Alessandra shaped that practice into the WEAVE Method, a guided framework that helps women clearly express what they are asking for so others can respond, creating the possibility that someone there may have the knowledge, resource or connection that propels them forward.

  • A LOOM Gathering is a facilitated creative experience designed to help women give clear words to what they want, personally and professionally, and discover what may already be waiting for them in the room: knowledge, resources, encouragement and the person who knows the person.

  • Sometimes the answer isn’t missing. We just haven’t found the words to ask for what we need.
